Business Development in Financial Processing Sector: E-xact Transactions Ltd. is looking for a talented, high-energy professional to take on our Business Development role. The BD person has extensive experience and contacts in the financial banking world, understands the various processing networks, and is intimate with the range of financial transactions available from credit card to debit to gift card.

You have a strong sense of integrity and a gift for building credibility with clients. If you can handle yourself, are a “people person” and have a great sense of humour, we want you on our team.

Duties:

• Building and fine-tuning list of strategic contacts
• Research prospects online to identify key triggers
• Write tantalizing emails that prompt inquiry into the business
• Follow-up with calls, emails and mail correspondence in a timely fashion
• Book and present web demos
• Record sales activities in CRM and report to senior management on weekly basis
• Brief outside sales team members about prospective clients prior to demonstrations
• Continually seek to improve the sales process and team
• Prospect for new business. Your customers will range from small Merchants to large banks or businesses
• Cultivate and develop leads
• Build client relationships for repeat business
• Work with a great team and yet enjoy a high level of autonomy

Experience & Skills:

• You are fluent in English, both written and verbal. Having a second language such as French, Mandarin, or Cantonese would be advantageous.
• You can educate clients and inspire possibilities with confidence
• You have a minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
